LPF is a home and has the same needs as every home. Cooks are needed to prepare meals, laundry needs to be done daily, rooms need to be cleaned, and floors need to be sweep. In addition, LPF has a food pantry, and a clothing room where there is always something that needs to be done. LPF has several groups that get together, and come in once a month to cook a meal, clean up outside or sort clothing in the clothes closet. Office personnel is needed 24 hours a day, which usually runs in six hours shifts, except the overnight shift, which is longer. Office personnel usually consist of senior (experienced) volunteers who deal directly with the guests, and handle most of the daily issues.
